Welcome

In 1985, an idea was born. This idea was to encourage young people to understand the importance and the joy of singing praises to God. Within a year a small choral group was formed. It was exciting and new. Under the direction of a young man named Randy Hargett, this group became more than just a bunch of kids, we became family. We not only sang together; we laughed, loved and cried together.

Enjoy.

Where It All Began

The Hamilton church of Christ in Hamilton, Alabama

While there were, at least a dozen, congregations represented, the core of the group began here. I can still remember Sunday afternoon practice from 2:00 til 4:00. Don't be fooled however, it wasn't all work, we had fun too.

In the beginning we had to carpool take church vans and even a "joy" bus (an old school bus ) to get to wherever we were singing.

Spring Tour 1986 Pt 2

The location from where Patrick Henry made his famous
"Give me liberty or give me death" Speech.

The old entrance to the church cemetery.

The grave marker of Edgar Allan Poe's Mother.
She was not allowed to be buried in the church cemetery because she was an actress.

Spring tour 1986

I have been going through some old, old photos but have, as of yet, found only a few from our first tour. But don't worry, if I have to I'll get some old negatives developed. But this is a good start.
